Karen Hedges
A brief biography

Karen Hedges passion is dance.  She is a dance teacher of some renowned, a choreographer and a DJ.  Her jazz and ballet background have been a great help in her expert teaching techniques. She is proud to be the NTA (National Teachers Association) Zone W Director, and UCWDC member.   Karen has recently been accepted into the UCWDC Judges Training Program.  Karen does a lot of charity work with local groups, senior citizen groups and is the event Director for Dancin Up A Storm for Shrine Hospital For Children.

I am so grateful to so many for so much, I have been blessed by the knowledge and guidance of Kelly Gellette, Joanne Brady, James and Jean (JG2), and so many others.  To Bill and Sandy Vanpool for giving me my very first opportunity to teach at an event, and to the many event directors,  who have given me the opportunity to do what I love the most--teach and dance.  I know I'm just a little fish in a GREAT Big Pond but I am so grateful to even be in the pond.

My biggest thank you goes to all the dancers who have stood beside me through the good and the bad times.  Without them I am nothing, with them I am everything.
